
Ridzwan Hamzah
Ridzwan has 12 years of experience as a consultant and has served clients in both the private and public sectors. He has extensive experience in strategy development and implementation, particularly in HR transformation, public policy and administration, and investment facilitation; and has served clients across Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. Under Malaysia’s National Transformation Programme (NTP), his portfolio included the implementation of initiatives under the Communications, Content, Infrastructure and Agriculture National Key Economic Areas (NKEAs). His role required him to work closely with various levels of stakeholders across government ministries and agencies in ensuring delivery of national targets. Similar to his implementation work in Malaysia, Ridzwan was also involved in the implementation of the Big Results Now! (BRN) Programme under the President’s Delivery Bureau (PDB), Tanzania where he oversaw the implementation of initiatives in the Transport and Agriculture sectors. His more recent public sector engagements include conducting economic labs for the governments of Saint Lucia and Lesotho; led the strategy development of Malaysia’s national 4G and satellite internet services under JENDELA 2, as well as project managing the operationalization of Oman’s government led Investment Services Centre. Additionally, Ridzwan has extensive experience in conducting labs under PEMANDU’s Big Fast Results (BFR) 8-Step Methodology©. To date, he has facilitated various labs from tackling social issues to enhancing economic diversification. Most recently, Ridzwan led an engagement to assist a technology services company to enhance its public sector offering in the transportation sector, through segmented profit and loss (SP&L) analysis and development of new business opportunities – to diversify the organization’s revenue streams. Furthermore, Ridzwan has led strategy engagements for Malaysia’s designated Halal entity, having led the development of the organization’s corporate KPIs based on its 5-year business plan, and development of its subsidiary’s corporatization plan – an effort to ensure the entity is globally competitive and financially sustainable. Ridzwan is PEMANDU Associates’ Engagement Director for one of Saudi Arabia’s giga-projects, NEOM. He oversees PEMANDU’s key engagements which covers economic ecosystems development, KPI strategy and operationalization, and PMO setup and delivery. Ridzwan continues to provide advisory support to clients in NEOM and the Middle East, adopting best practices and latest trends to impart to other clients
